Full Description

A rectory dating from the mid 18th century which underwent alterations in the early 19th century, an extension and alterations by Bejamin Broadbent in 1856 and further alterations in 1875 by James Fowler. It was constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and Farlesthorpe yellow brick and has a slate roof with a single axial brick stack with moulded top. The interior retains an early 19th century stick baluster stair with a carved string, and some 18th century door joinery. A large moat surrounds the Rectory.
