Full Description
A cottage dating from the mid 18th century which underwent alterations in the 20th century. It was constructed of mud and stud which was encased with colourwashed brick and has a half hipped pantile roof with a single central red brick ridge stack. Medlam House, Carrington. 18th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with two sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. The farmhouse is the only surviving historic structure. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
