Full Description
A cottage dating from the early 18th century which underwent alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was originally mud and stud which was encased in red brick and has a half hipped pantile roof with an axial ridge brick stack. Unnamed farmstead, West Keal. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with three sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
