Full Description

A parish church possibly dating from the 11th century, which underwent alterations in the 13th, 14th, 16th and 18th centuries and was restored in 1904 by T. J. Micklethwaite. It was constructed of greenstone rubble blocks with limestone ashlar dressings, some red brick and some render. It has slate and lead roofs with a square wooden 20th century bell turret with slatted openings to the north and south and a lead finial with a weathervane.
