Full Description

A custom house, now offices, dating from 1725 which underwent alterations in the early 19th and 20th centuries. It was constructed of red brick with stone bands, rusticated quoins and a blue brick plinth with a chamfered stone top roof, stone coped gables and two gable stacks. To the rear yard are further remains of the vaulted undercroft in No.10 South Street, which is part of the former Dominican Friary which was founded in late 13th century.
