Full Description

A house, then shop, now offices, built in the 15th century which underwent alterations in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. It is a timber frame building and has a roughcast front and a plain tiled roof with coped gables behind a parapet and two reduced gable stacks. This building had a 15th century jettied front, and the ground floor posts supporting the jetty, now cased in, survive. The first floor wall is timber-framed but covered over. 15th century king post roof trusses and rafters survive.
