Full Description

A public house dating from the late 18th century which is four-storeys high with a tiled roof and a rebuilt parapet. The front was rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th century in gault brick. The public house is recorded in the licensing renewal list of 1784. during the 19th century it also operated as an import and wholsale business, with some of the buildings to the rear of the public house associated with this business being converted to flats. {1} The building is Grade II listed.
