Full Description

A Masonic hall dating from 1860 to 1863 which underwent alterations in the 20th century. It was constructed of gault brick and ashlar and has a Welsh slate roof, with plain red brick to the sides and the rear. It is constructed in Egyptian Revival style. On the entablature an inscription in Egyptian hieroglyphics apparently reads 'In the 23rd year of the reign of Her Majesty the Royal Daughter Victoria, Lady Most Gracious, this building was erected.
