Full Description
Five grade II listed almshouses, dating from the 15th century, rebuilt in 1728 and altered in the 20th century. They are red brick in Flemish bond with ashlar quoins and dressings and have concrete pantile roofs and brick coped partly tumbled gables. The building of the adjacent school and rebuilding of the bedehouses were bequeathed by Mr. William Purrill in his will dated 31st July 1725.
