Early 19th century milepost adjacent to Inglenook, Wrangle. It is triangular in plan, and made of cast-iron. It is inscribed 'WRANGLE' in the top panel, with 'BOSTON 10M' and 'WAINFLEET 8M' in the respective side panels. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}{2} The milepost was inspected as part of a condition survey of historic milestones in Boston Borough, conducted in early 2020. It was found to be in a relatively fair condition at that time, although the paint had flaked from all the surfaces and the post was becoming quite rusty. {3}
