Cottage dating from the mid 17th century, which underwent alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. Built of red brick, and features a pantile roof with tumbled gables and kneelers, and a single 20th century axial ridge chimney stack. The building is single-storey plus garret, with a lobby entry plan, and has a four-bay front, partly with corbelled eaves. The main elevation has an off-centre half-glazed door, with 19th century casement windows (one to left and two to right of door). All openings have segmental brick heads. The interior has a chamfered girder with ogee stops.
