Early 19th century milepost at Main Road, Leverton. It is triangular in plan, and made of cast-iron. It is inscribed 'LEVERTON' in the top panel, with 'BOSTON 6M' and 'WAINFLEET 12M' in the respective side panels. It was found to be in a relatively fair condition at that time, although the paint had flaked from all the surfaces and the post was becoming quite rusty. {3}
