Full Description
Formerly schoolmasters' houses and school, which are now two cottages and a Village Hall. They are Grade II listed. The buildings were by Sir G. G. Scott, patron Rev. B. Beridge in 1856. They are squared, coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings and have a Westmoreland slate roof with stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. The buildings are in an E-plan with the school in the centre flanked by the cottages. One of the shields over the door is dated 1856.
