Full Description

PRN 70628 During trial trenching and excavation in 2006 at 21 Wragby Road, Lincoln, Roman pottery sherds dating from the 2nd to the 4th century were found in quarry pits and associated with a kiln, a trackway and the construction of the Greetwellgate house frontage. Much of this pottery was presumably residual. However it is possible that the quarry pits were Roman in date. {1}{2}
