Full Description

PRN 65444 In March/April 2006, fieldwalking of two proposed road routes to the south of Lincoln was undertaken by Birmingham University Archaeological Unit. A lithic implement dated from the Neolithic/Bronze Age was found in Field 38. It is unclear if this artefact is worked. {1}{2} Four worked flints were found in this parcel of land during fieldwalking along the route of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass by Archaeological Project Services in November 2008. The artefacts dated from the Mesolithic to Bronze Age. {3}{4}
