In March/April 2006, fieldwalking of two proposed road routes to the south of Lincoln was undertaken by Birmingham University Archaeological Unit. Three sherds of 14th to 15th century pottery were found in Field 4. Three pieces of slag and five fragments of tile were also found in this field. {1}{2}
