Full Description
Documentary sources reveal that a former Independent Baptist Chapel was situated off High Street in Boston at the end of a former alley known as Heslam's Alley. The chapel was erected in 1742, though founded before 1727. This chapel was sold to General Baptists in 1844 for use as a school room. The chapel is marked on maps of 1829 and 1839. The congregation probably moved to a chapel built in Liquorpond Street in 1838 (PRN 14000). {1}{2}{3}{4}
