Full Description

PRN 13991 A Wesleyan Methodist chapel is shown on the 1905 OS County Series map. It is included in the English Heritage inventory of Chapels and Meeting Houses in Eastern England, where it is described as a small wayside chapel with a plain gabled front dated 1858. A Wesleyan chapel at Leverton, erected in 1820, is recorded in the returns of the Census of Religious Returns. The building no longer survives and the site lies within a field, though it is shown on the 1973 1:10000 OS Map. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
