The gabled chapel, built in 1870, is constructed of red brick with a modern tile roof covering. The 3-bay front gable has a dentil brick cornice, a roundel in the gable and a central projecting gabled porch which also has a dentil cornice. The original porch doorway is now blocked and has been replaced by a round-headed window with stone arch and arched glazing bars. The current doorway is flat-headed and is situated on the side of the porch. The porch is flanked by 2 flat-headed windows with ashlar stone lintels. The side elevations have 4 bays of the same flat-headed windows. There is a gabled extension to the rear which may have been used by the Sunday School mentioned in documentary sources. {1}{2}{3}
