Full Description

PRN 13958 Chapel house is in the process of renovation (2008) and has been completely rendered and refenestrated but the gabled porch on South east elevation suggests that it may represent the Wesleyan Chapel marked on the OS County Series Map, though there is an adjoining derelict area with traces of a demolished building. If the present house represents the original chapel it has been altered, refenestrated and rendered, obscuring any original features or details. The site originally lay in a detached part of Sutterton parish and the former chapel may be the Wesleyan chapel referred to in the census of religious returns as having been erected at Sutterton Fen in 1846.{1}{2}{3}
