Full Description

The primitive methodist chapel is still in use. The stone tablet in the gable reads 'Built 1826 Rebuilt 1861'. The building is constructed of red brick with modern roof tiles. The elevation facing the street has a pedimented gable with plain brick cornices and an inserted square-headed doorway between two round-headed windows. The south elevation has a blocked segmental-headed doorway between 2 segmental-headed windows. There are several annexes added to the north and a flat–roofed modern extension to east. The hipped-roofed annexe to the north has a separate entrance and may represent a Sunday school. {1}{2}{3}
