Mainly brick built one and a half storey pair of cottages with slate roof. Tumbled in gables to east side with large single chimney stack. Timber lintels visible on external front elevation. Two modern windows to first floor and single inserted gable. There is also a small window just above the first storey at the eastern side. Some stonework incorporated into a buttress on the front corner. The cottage sits on a stone cill, some of which has been repaired with concrete and doors are cut through this cill at ground level. {1}
This building is of some architectural and historical value and it does, with other buildings in the vicinity, enhance the character of the area in which it stands. {2}
