Full Description
A gun emplacement of the Second World War Coastal Crust is believed to have been located in this area to the east of Red Farm, North Somercotes. The emplacement would have housed a 6 pounder gun. {1}
The remains of a concrete structure believed to have been the gun platform was recorded at this site in 2008. The structure is rectangular in shape and made of concrete blocks. It looked to be in relatively good condition at the time of recording. {2}
