Full Description

Prn 24088 Three storey brick townhouse with slate roof. This red brick house is built in Flemish bond and has a single window to each storey, the ground and first floor each have sixteen light sliding sash window without horns, and the second floor has a nine light sliding sash window without horns. The second floor window was originally wider and had a stone cill, which has been removed possibly when a new window was inserted. Above each of the windows there is a stone arch, the arches appear to have been scored to look like a rubbed brick arch. The 'stone arch' above the door is a later addition and looks like it could possibly be made of concrete. The door sits on a stone plinth. {1} This building is a good example of this style of building of this period and survives with only a few changes to its original construction. {2}
