Full Description

Prn 24087 Three storey eighteenth century brick townhouse with full storey cellar, constructed in Flemish bond. The cellar is accessed by steps to a separate external doorway. The ground floor entrance is reached by three stone steps and has a pair of centrally placed French doors and two slim windows either side, it is recessed back into the plot creating a porchway with balcony above. The doors and the windows all have rubbed brick splayed window arches, apart from the cellar doorway which has a round arch constructed in headers. This building has a wrought iron balcony to the first floor which is accessed through a pair of French doors. The third floor is jettied out to the full depth of the plot. It has a vertical sliding sash window without horns. {1} This building is a good example of this style of building for this period and survives with only a few changes to its original construction. {2}
