A pair of stone built cottages with a slate roof. Originally one building, some repairs have been made in brick, and the side elevation on to Reform Street has been refaced in brick. There is a single brick chimney stack. {1}
This is a historic building that is not designated as a listed building but is recognised as a building of local interest. It has some architectural or historic merit and it does, with other buildings in the vicinity, enhance the character of the area in which it stands. {2}
