Full Description

PRN 70615 Medieval deposits were encountered during a watching brief. These consisted of a possible buried soil containing a sherd of 12th to 13th century pottery overlain by a thick dumped deposit containing another fragment of 12th to 13th century pottery and a large quantity of medieval roof tile. This may represent dumping of construction or demolition debris or it may indicate the presence of medieval structures nearby. {1}{2}
