Full Description
A single pit was identified in December 2007, during archaeological monitoring on land to the north of Helpringham Road, Burton Pedwardine. Fragments of fired clay were recovered from the feature, although these were quite abraded and undiagnostic. Whilst the date of the pit remains uncertain, its location below the subsoil may indicate that it is quite early. {1}{2}
