Full Description

Three storey, red brick, county court building. Dated '1759 E Hawksmore' on a plaque to the side, and '1870' on another stone above the central doorway. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} The main elevation of the court house has 5 windows on the 1st floor, and 4 windows on the ground floor with a central doorway. The building was described in a heritage statement, prepared in October 2014 prior to internal alteration works. {2} A blocked former fireplace was exposed in November 2017, during internal alteration works to the court house. The fireplace was made of bricks, and was briefly recorded prior to its demolition by the works. {3}
