Former school and schoolmaster's house. One and two storey red brick building in English Garden Wall Bond, under a pitched gabled slate roof. Two gable stacks. A gabled porch on the single storey range has a datestone above the entranceway, reading '1858'. {1} White's 1856 Trade Directory does not mention a specific school building in the parish, but lists a Mrs Ann Healey as schoolmistress.
