Full Description

PRN 65120 Coursed squared limestone rubble farmhouse dated 1590 with 19th century alterations. On the porch gable is a datestone of 1590. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} A Manor House is mentioned in Pevsner but the description does not match this building very well. However, it is not clear which other building it could refer to (possibly PRN 65125? although it does not match this building either, and this one had probably already been demolished). {3} Manor Farm, Silk Willoughby. Partially extant 16th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {4}
