Full Description

PRN 65094 A medieval manorial chapel dedicated to St Bartholomew existed at Culverthorpe, and is thought to be located to the east of Culverthorpe Hall near the location of the later chapel (PRN 61116). {1} The 1905 O.S. map shows the site of this chapel, although this location is not certain. {2}{3}{4} The bench ends in Kelby church (PRN 62259) are said to have come from this chapel. {3} "No trace" of this chapel was visible by 1856. {6}
