Full Description

A school is shown on the 1905 O.S. map. {1} Former school. Single storey building of coursed stone, under a pitched gabled tile roof. Two ridge stacks. {2} The schoolmistress in 1856 was Elizabeth Towns. {3} The school appears to have closed in the early 1930s for financial reasons. It has since been converted for residential use. {4}
