Full Description
There was a manor in the village until at least the reign of James I. The site of the old hall was marked by " a few mounds" by the later 19th century. {1}
Building stone was found in 1976, in the area of TF 0530 3763. It is not known whether this relates to the manor or the deserted settlement (see (PRN 60445), however. {2}
