Full Description

PRN 36906 Several linear features, one of which was dated to the late medieval-early post medieval period, and a large pit also of late medieval-early post medieval date were uncovered during trial trenching. The linear features were probably boundary or drainage ditches. Glazed tile fragments were recovered from one ditch and the pit, and these are generally associated with high status buildings and may represent demolition material from the nearby former abbey (PRN 33233). {1}{2}
