Full Description

The largest industrial brickworks within the city boundary were probably the sites between Burton Road and Long Leys Road, belonging to the West Cliff Brick Works and the Albion Road Brick Works. The Albion Brick Works appear to have been constructed in 1900 and demolished around 1930. Circular structures depicted on the Ordnance Survey map of 1905 appear to be kilns. {1}
