Full Description

Horbling Camp was a prisoner of war camp during the Second World War. This camp is an example of a 'Standard Camp'. In the official government numbering it was camp number 80 and referred to as Horbling Camp, Sleaford. It is recorded as a German Working Camp. {1} The Camp is visible on the OS 6 inch map of the early 1950's. {2} The site is now occupied by modern housing. {3}
