A chapel is shown on the 1905 O.S. map. It does not say whether it is a Methodist or other kind of chapel. {1}
It is unclear whether this building has been demolished or remains in altered form. {2}
This chapel was a Wesleyan Methodist chapel, and was still in use in 1950. It has been converted into a house. {3}
The site was visited in 2009. The chapel was originally built in 1840 and rebuilt in 1875. It closed in 1982 and is now in use as a house named Old Chapel House. The gabled former chapel has a pantile roof, with overhanging eaves, and is built of red brick with a yellow gault brick front elevation. The broad three-bay front has a central gabled porch, with decorative wooden verge boards, and red brick quoins. The pointed doorway has a divided light above and is flanked by pointed windows, with painted brick arches, separated by stepped brick buttresses. The main gable also has decorative wooden verge boards and a single pointed window. A foundation stone has a date of 1875.{4}{5}
