Full Description

Medieval features including ditches and a pit were uncovered in April 2007, during a watching brief at Plot 1, Low Road, Wyberton. Pottery recovered from the features dated to the 12th-14th centuries, although some pieces may be earlier or later. The size and form of the pottery suggests domestic use, and it is thought that this represents occupation on or very near the site. This site probably forms part of the shrunken medieval settlement of Wyberton. {1}{2}
