Full Description

Farmhouse dating from 1852, and built for the Whichcote family of Aswarby Park. Constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings, and features a slate roof with two gable chimney stacks having moulded and dentillated ashlar cornices and single plain gable stack to rear range. The building has an L-shaped plan form, and is of two storeys, with a three-bay front, with the middle bay advanced and with an open pediment and dentillated eaves cornice. The central glazed double doors has bordered stained glass lights and astained glass fanlight in a semi circular arched surround with plain ashlar impost and key blocks.
