Monument record MLI90277 - Undated post hole to the south of Scothern North Drain

Summary

Undated post hole to the south of Scothern North Drain

Type and Period (1)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

PRN 55408 An undated post hole was uncovered during a watching brief. It may represent part of a structure or fence associated with the 18th/19th century bridge (PRN 55407) and it was considered too small and shallow to represent part of an earlier timber bridge. However, it could be of a much earlier date, possibly associated with the cropmarks to the south (PRN53139). {1}{2}
