Full Description
A scatter of Romano-British pottery was seen in this field. {1}
A small quantity of Roman pottery was visible in this area during a walkover in 2009. It included colourcoated ware. {2}
Anomalies interpreted as ditches belonging to a possible enclosure were located by a geophysical survey carried out in March 2009. Other linear anomalies were identified in the area bounded by the possible enclosure, while more ephemeral anomalies extended across land to the east. The main focus of potential activity corresponds closely with the area of the known pottery scatter. {3}
