Garden house. c.1880. Wood with thatched roof Hexagonal plan. The sides have rustic wood panels decorated with split branches and roots. Stained glass windows.The interior has bench seating and split-branch framing to rattan lining. Door has split-branch panels. An unusually complete survival, this garden house is close to and associated with The Pines and attached former seed warehouse. The site was laid out as a nursery and seedsman for John Sharp c.1830 and greatly enlarged c.1880 for Charles Sharp who specialised in dealing in seeds.
