Full Description

A mid 18th century watermill for grinding corn. It is two storeys, built of coursed limestone rubble with pantile roofs. The ground floor is 18th century, the upper floors were rebuilt in the 19th century. The stepped mill race has brick side walls, now capped with engineering bricks. The mill interior has a large wooden wheel, which is probably a late 19th century copy of the original wheel.
