Full Description

A square plan workhouse built in 1837, designed by George Wilkinson. {1} Former site of Gainsborough Workhouse. The workhouse is depicted on the 2nd edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey County Series map. An associated chapel is also depicted. {2}
