Full Description
A small quantity of 9th-11th century pottery and butchered animal bone was found in January 2007, during trial trenching on land off 1-8 Mill Lane, Lincoln. A possible soil was also identified. The area investigated appears to have been away from the focus of settlement during this period but may have been used for rubbish dumping. {1}{2}
