Full Description

PRN 55399 Range of stables with hayloft above, cottage attached to left and outbuildings attached to right. Late 18th century, constructed in coursed limestone rubble wit pantile roofs. Two storeys high. The stable block has five bays with plankstable doors to left with fixed glazing bar window and wooden lintel above. There is are blocked dovecote openings in the south gable. Single storey outbuildings to right with two plank stable doors with wooden lintels and fixed glazing bar windows above. The cottage hasa stone coped south gable and gable stack. Two bays and two storeys, with doorway to left with partially glazed door and wooden lintel. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
