Full Description

An exceptionally fine Neolithic flint axe was found in June 1970, during the digging of a 5ft deep drainage ditch on land near South View Farm. Photographs of the axe have been taken, with the axe being loaned to Lincoln Museum. The axe is polished and measures roughly 8" in length, with the stone containing a prominent belemnite fossil. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
