Full Description

PRN 70561 Ironstone quarries to the east of Lincoln, with associated tramways for carriage of goods. The quarries are depicted on the Ordnance Survey County Series map of 1905. {1} This mine was worked by the Mid Lincolnshire Ironstone Company. It was opened in 1875 and closed by 1923. {2}
