This chapel was built in 1851. {3}
The site was visited in 2009. The Primitive Methodists in Great Hale originally met in a private house. This chapel was erected in 1851 and was known as the Bourne Clowes Chapel. It was altered in 1906 and closed in 1963. It is now in use as a house. It has a gabled roof with modern tile covering and is built of red brick with yellow brick and ashlar dressings. It has a broad five-bay façade with a central gabled porch with a raised gable with stone copings and kneelers and central and lateral pinnacles. The pointed windows are separated by pilasters and the windows and the door have painted ashlar arches and the door has a glazing-bar light in the arch. The window frames have been replaced in plastic. The yellow gault brick dressings include two string-courses of double rows at window sill and window impost level, and dogtooth brickwork in the eaves cornices and gable verges. An ashlar tablet in the west gable has a date of 1851 and 1906 is inscribed on the arch of the door. The building rests on a brick plinth with ashlar memorial stones. There is gabled modern extension to the east and a conervatory to the west.{4}{5}{6}
